Liverpool face Manchester United on Tuesday evening, and the Reds come into this one as massive favourites.

Liverpool and United have, for years, had one of the closest rivalries in the Premier League, but at the moment, there is a massive gulf between these two sides.

Indeed, Liverpool are on track for the quadruple, while Manchester United would be fortunate to even get a place in the Europa League.

However, as we all know, form can often go out of the window for these derby games, and with that in mind, we’ve had a go at predicting Liverpool’s starting XI for this match.

We think that Jurgen Klopp will make three changes from the side that beat Manchester City as the Reds try to rotate their squad amid a frantic fixture list.

The backline remains largely the same, but there is one change as Joel Matip comes in for Ibrahima Konate.

Meanwhile, Jordan Henderson returns to the starting XI in place of Naby Keita, despite a good run of form from the Guinean.

Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah are once again trusted to start in the attack, but Diogo Jota leads the line as Luis Diaz drops to the bench.

A win here would put Liverpool top of the Premier League – at least momentarily, and given United’s recent showings, it’s fair to say that the Merseyside outfit will fancy themselves to pick up all three points here.
