Liverpool have a great chance to pile the pressure on Manchester City this weekend as they play in Saturday’s early kick-off against Brighton.
The Reds can make up some ground on Pep Guardiola’s side before City face Crystal Palace on Monday, and it’s worth noting that Palace have already beaten the league leaders this term.
Jurgen Klopp will be desperate to put another three points on the board, and this game against Brighton probably couldn’t have come at a better time.
Graham Potter’s side have been playing nice football this season, but they’ve lost each of their last four league games and a match against Liverpool has come at the worst possible time for the Seagulls.
Klopp’s men come into this game as strong favourites, and with that in mind, we’ve had a go at predicting Liverpool’s starting Xi for this one.

We think that Liverpool will make three changes from the team that lost to Inter Milan in midweek.
The back five remains the same, but there are two switches in midfield as Jordan Hednerson and Naby Keita return. Thiago Alcantara is still coming off the back of the injury he sustained before the Carabao Cup final and two starts in a week may be a push for the Spaniard.
Meanwhile, there’s one change up front. Diogo Jota is also still returning from injury so he drops out for Luis Diaz – who has looked very bright since joining Liverpool, meaning that Sadio Mane changes position, moving from the left wing to a more central role.
