Liverpool have a mountain to climb at Anfield on Wednesday as they try to overcome a two-goal deficit against Real Madrid.
The Reds certainly have the quality needed to get them through, but their recent poor form at Anfield combined with Real Madrid’s pedigree in this competition makes it look like an uphill task.
However, we all know better than to write the Reds off when it comes to a big European night at Anfield, and with a mouth-watering semi-final clash against Chelsea awaiting them, Liverpool will be well up for this one.
Jurgen Klopp certainly has a few interesting decisions to make when it comes to team selection here, and with that in mind, we’ve had a go at predicting the Reds’ starting XI for this one.

We think that Jurgen Klopp will opt to make two changes for this one.
The backline remains the same as the one we’ve grown accustomed to seeing in recent weeks.
In the midfield there is one change, Thiago Alcantara comes in for James Milner.
Up top is where Klopp undoubtedly has the biggest selection headache though. Diogo Jota has been incredible for the Reds this season, but we can’t see Klopp veering away from the front three that has brought him so much success in this competition in recent years.
Therefore, Sadio Mane returns to the starting XI as the trio of Mane, Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino are re-united.
