Jose Enrique is excited by the prospect of Liverpool possibly signing Ousmane Dembele on a free transfer in the summer, as he posted on his Instagram story.
The former Liverpool left-back pointed out that Jurgen Klopp knows the Barcelona forward ‘very well’ from their days at Borussia Dortmund.
In January, there was a lot of controversy around Dembele and his contract situation at the Nou Camp.
The La Liga giants seemingly wanted the 24-year-old to, either leave or sign a new deal, in the end, he stayed put and his contract is due to expire in the summer.
But, since then, he has played a huge part in Xavi turning things around at Barcelona, including supplying seven assists from his last five matches.
As things stand, Dembele is set to leave Catalonia on a free and this is what Enrique said on the possibility of him coming to Anfield.
“What a player it will be for us Reds, and as well on a free transfer,” said Enrique. “Klopp knows him very well.”

Klopp and his Liverpool coaching staff have some sort of magic dust on Merseyside when it comes to bringing the best out of wide attackers.
Whether it’s helping Mohamed Salah transform into one of the best in the world, or surprising many by signing Diogo Jota from Wolves and helping him turn into a goalscoring machine.
Then there is the January arrival of Luis Diaz, who has hit to life at Liverpool like a duck to water and produced performances that have resulted in Klopp leaving some of his big stars on the bench.
Whilst many would be put off by bringing Dembele to the club, because of his struggles since his big-money move to the Nou Camp, you can just bet your bottom dollar that Klopp turns him into that £100 million player, if he adds the World Cup winner to his all-action system.
