
Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter to show Fabinho some love after his excellent first-half display against FC Midtjylland last night.
The Brazilian was only handed 45 minutes by Jurgen Klopp, who was perhaps wary of his versatile stalwart getting injured.
However, that was still enough time for the former Real Madrid man to shine.
According to SofaScore, Fabinho made five clearances and recorded one tackle, while losing possession just four times in his first-half display.
Additionally, the Liverpool No.3 made a fine intervention when clearing Sory Kaba’s header off the line, after Caoimhin Kelleher was caught out.

It was a commanding display from the man who cost Liverpool £43.7 million when signing him from AS Monaco.
It was also extremely telling that the Reds somewhat fell apart after the Campinas-born utility man was withdrawn.
Klopp’s men conceded in the 62nd minute, and almost went behind as FC Midtjylland netted a second, although it was ruled out for offside.

In Liverpool’s time of need without Virgil van Dijk and Joe Gomez, Fabinho has slotted in at centre-back like he’s been playing there his whole life, and at a world-class level.
