Speaking on the Here We Go Podcast, Fabrizio Romano has shared how Jurgen Klopp feels about Liverpool star Thiago Alcantara.
Thiago had a slow start to life in England last season. He struggled with injuries, while the all-around injury crisis at Anfield last season affected his position and style as his midfield partners were often forced back into the defence.
However, this season, Thiago has looked rejuvenated, he’s been as classy as you’d expect him to be, and he’s netted two goals in recent weeks against Southampton and Porto.
Klopp is apparently buzzing with Thiago, with Romano stating that he’s been impressed by his ability to recover from injuries and how he’s settled in England.
What’s been said about Thiago?
Romano shared some insight into how Klopp feels about Thiago.
“They are super happy with Thiago Alcantara, and I want to mention it because of his incredible goal in the Champions League. There were rumours about Barcelona, but, let me clarify, Barcelona have had no contact with Liverpool and Jurgen Klopp is super happy with Thiago, with how Thiago has recovered from injuries, it was not easy for him to adapt to English football, but now it looks like the perfect process,” Romano said.

Every right to be
To be honest, Klopp has every right to be over the moon with Thiago.
The Spaniard looked like he may have been a bit of a risky signing when he arrived last summer. After all, he was 30 and he did have injury problems, but he’s proven his quality this season.
Yes, Thiago has had injuries, but as Romano says, he’s recovered from them brilliantly, while he’s also not having any issues with the intense style of the Premier League.
Klopp is super happy with Thiago and we can imagine that many Liverpool fans are as well.
