Sadio Mane is available for Liverpool tomorow, Jurgen Klopp has confirmed.
The international break is always a concerning period for Liverpool fans – and supporters for every other club.
That’s because entiree seasons can be derailed by what happens during these times.
And it was a concern for Liverpool in midweek when Mane went off injured in the first half of a Senegal clash.
The 29-year-old has been up and down this season but, for the most part, he’s a huge player for the Reds and injury of any kind could’ve been detrimental.
But Klopp has calmed fears, revealing to the club’s official website that he’s okay to face Arsenal tomorrow.
He said: “Sadio is fine – painful but fine. Everybody who had a rib bruise knows it’s an annoying thing. But Sad trained here with us now in all sessions.
“We took him out a little bit earlier here and there when we knew now it will be full contact, stuff like this, just to give it a bit more time to settle. But he looks fine.”
Fearsome
Mohamed Salah gets all the attention and rightly so because he’s Liverpool’s best player.
But lest we forget that the former Southampton attacker has eight goals in 15 games across all competitions this season.
Liverpool fans may never see Mane at his absolute best again, because there’s been a slow but gradual decline in his goalscoring form in recent years.
But any wide player with a ratio better than a goal every two games is still one to be feared and Arsenal will be concerned by his availability tomorrow.
