It looks like Liverpool fans are about to see Fabinho continue in his recently-reclaimed midfield role tomorrow night.
The Reds are gearing up for a tricky visit to Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Premier League.
Fabinho has spent most of this Liverpool season as a centre-back due to injuries to Virgil van Dijk, Joe Gomez and Joel Matip.
And although the big Brazilian is a fine defender, he is a midfielder by trade – and a very, very good one.
The former Monaco man has been back in midfield over the past couple of games and Liverpool fans will see him there again at Molineux.
Jurgen Klopp heavily hinted that Ozan Kabak and Nat Phillips would continue at centre-back after their performance in the Champions League win over Leipzig in midweek.
And that means Klopp has effectively confirmed that Fabinho would likely stay in the middle of the park tomorrow night, alongside perhaps Thiago Alcantara and Gini Wijnaldum.
Liverpool fans have wanted to see Fabinho back in his natural position for months but barring an injury to Kabak or Phillips – which can’t be ruled out, the season that’s in it – they’ll get their wish most weeks between now and the end of the season.
