Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp believes opponents Tottenham Hotspur have plenty of individual quality and a playing style they have absoloutely convinced by, Spurs’ official website report.
The Reds have a decent recent record against Spurs, remaining undefeated in their last seven encounters with two of those being 3-0 and 5-0 thrashings in North London.
However, Spurs have improved under Mauricio Pochettino and now boast a squad which can rival most Premier League rivals for both quality and depth in key areas.

Previewing the encounter, Klopp feels his side’s opponents have plenty of individual quality and while being so young there is room for further development over the coming years.
“Tottenham are absolutely convinced about their way and their style of play,” Klopp explained, reported by Tottenham’s official website. “They didn’t change too much and they have high individual quality.
“They can even leave Alli out, that’s a big difference from last year and with Janssen they have a really skilled striker. Harry (Kane) can play from a number 10 position too and did it well.
“Wanyama and Dier in the centre is a little bit different to Dier and Dembele. The rest of the team is very experienced and has played together one-and-a-half or two years nearly, but they are still young so there’s still space for development.”

Tottenham have grown from top-four hopefuls to Premier League title challengers under the guidance of Argentine coach Pochettino.
Despite the recent record between the two teams, Spurs will likely head into the encounter as favourites coming off the back of a win over Crystal Palace while the Reds lost 2-0 at Burnley last time out.
There are few weaknesses in Spurs’ squad these days, while Liverpool on the other hand still have obvious issues in regards to a leaky defence which the hosts will no doubt try to exploit.
