Jurgen Klopp seemingly chewed out Liverpool defender Joe Gomez during Saturday’s fiasco.
The Reds suffered a shock 1-0 defeat away to Nottingham Forest yesterday, despite going into the encounter with back-to-back wins over Manchester City and West Ham United.
Joe Gomez conceded the needless foul which ultimately led to former Liverpool striker Taiwo Awoniyi firing the hosts ahead against his old club.
And according to James Pearce, who exclusively covers the club for The Athletic, Klopp was visibly ‘furious’ with the 25-year-old at one point during the second half.
Pearce tweeted:

It was another nervy performance by Gomez and honestly, Liverpool need Ibrahima Konate back as soon as possible.
On his day, Gomez is an outstanding centre-back partner for Virgil van Dijk and he has recorded a series of exceptional performances under Klopp.
However, the former Charlton Athletic player, who joined the Reds under Brendan Rodgers in 2015, is increasingly unpredictable.
And that’s something Klopp can do without, particularly with Konate sidelined with injury and Joel Matip equally as erratic at times.
Quite a number of Liverpool players are well below their own high standard this season and it’s fair to say that the England international is absolutely one of them.
So really, you can understand Klopp’s frustration.
