Liverpool weren’t the busiest team in the January transfer window, but they were amongst the most interesting operators last month.

Indeed, the Reds made one big-name signing, while a fully-fit squad presents them with a few selection dilemmas.

The Anfield outfit have a title race to win, but in order to do that, Klopp needs to figure out what his strongest starting XI is after a hectic January.

With that in mind, we’ve had a go at predicting the Reds’ strongest post-January XI.

It’s perhaps not the most controversial or interesting XI, but, in our view, this is the best XI available to Jurgen Klopp right now.

Of course, there will be the temptation to throw Luis Diaz right into the XI will be massive, especially as Sadio Mane’s form has been patchy in recent months, but Mane is a bona fide Premier League star, and with the title on the line, Liverpool can’t afford to gamble on Diaz in such a big way straight away.

Another dilemma Klopp faces concerns Harvey Elliott. The youngster was a starter before he went down injured against Leeds, but after four months out, it may be wise for Klopp to go with a more tried and tested midfield trio rather than throwing the teenager straight back in.
