Jurgen Klinsmann and Micky Hazard are happy with Tottenham Hotspur’s 2014-15 campaign.
Jurgen Klinsmann has taken to social networking site Twitter to congratulate Tottenham Hotspur on what he believes is a successful season.
Tottenham have ended the 2014-15 Premier League campaign in fifth place with 64 points from 38 matches, six points behind fourth-placed Manchester United.
This means that the North London outfit will play in the Europa League next season.
Former Tottenham striker Klinsmann seems to be delighted with Tottenham’s 2014-15 campaign and is happy with the way Harry Kane has performed.
Following Spurs’ 1-0 victory over Everton away from home at Goodison Park in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon, the 50-year-old German, currently the USA national team coach, posted the following message on Twitter:
Former Tottenham midfielder Micky Hazard is also pleased with the team’s season and made the following post on Twitter:
Tottenham’s ambition this season was to finish in the top four; from that perspective their season has been a failure.
However, reaching the League Cup final and the emergence of players like Kane, Ryan Mason and Nabil Bentaleb are positives.
Kane in particular has been a revelation. The 21-year-old England international ended the Premier League season with 21 goals scored and 27 chances created in 34 matches.
