Leeds United loanee Mateusz Klich put in another impressive performance at the weekend on loan at FC Utrecht.

If Leeds have been monitoring him, and they really should be, then his teammate Zakaria Labyad will have caught the eye.

Labyad scored in the 3-3 draw and was the centre-piece of Utrecht’s attack, also hitting the woodwork and creating five chances for his teammates.

Labyad has Championship experience, he had a brief loan spell at Fulham in 2015/16 where he played just twice.

He was on loan from Sporting Lisbon at the time, and signed for Utrecht shortly after.

After a slow first season in Holland, which yielded just three goals, he has really kicked on this campaign, scoring 13 times.

He linked up effectively with Klich at the weekend, with the Leeds loanee managing three shots on target in their 3-3 draw with Den Haag.

Former PSV youngster Labyad is still just 25, and is a Morocco international.

In addition to his goalscoring exploits this season he has nine assists, and can play both up front and as a supporting striker.

As Leeds look to re-shape their attack for next season, Labyad could be well worth investing in as they keep an eye on Klich’s progress.
