The defenders have signed for Liverpool this summer.

With Liverpool completing a move for Ragnar Klavan on Wednesday, they now have two of the Bundesliga’s top defensive performers from last season in their ranks.
The Estonia international arrives at Anfield as extra defensive cover following the departure of Martin Skrtel to Fenerbache.
He is a familiar face, having taken on the Reds in a game in the Europa League last season.

He is the second Bundesliga defender to turn up this summer after Joel Matip also agreed to join Jurgen Klopp’s side.
And if statistical evidence from last season is anything to go by, Liverpool fans should be eagerly anticipating seeing the two in action.
Of all the defenders in the Bundesliga last season, nobody managed to block more shots than Matip, who managed 33 in total. Klavan was a close second on 30.

They were also at the top of the rankings when it came to clearances, with Matip second on the list with 204, just one short of leader Nicklas Sule on 205, while Klavan was third with 186.
It now remains to be seen if the duo can dominate similar stats in the Premier League next season.
