Kion Etete is enjoying a strong week at Tottenham.

Tottenham Hotspur youngster Troy Parrott stole the show with a four goal haul for the club in the UEFA Youth League.
It preceded predictable and justifiable calls from fans for him to be promoted into the first team.
Fortunately Spurs have another promising player ready to step in, with youngster Kion Etete making a big impression since joining in the summer from Notts County.
Etete netted in a dominant 9-2 win for Spurs’ under-19s against their Red Star Belgrade counterparts.
This was another box checked off for Etete in his early Spurs journey, his first UEFA Youth League goal.
He had previously played in Tottenham’s opening two matches, without finding the scoresheet.

Etete has had a solid start for the under-18s, netting three times in six games.
One of these was an equaliser in a 2-2 draw against Arsenal at the weekend, ensuring he already has a North London derby goal to his name.
With four goals already, Etete is on course to reach double figures in his debut season in Tottenham’s academy with ease.
It’s too early to say whether the 17-year-old can mount a case to reach the first team, but on early evidence, why not?
