Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with a number of centre backs this summer, as they seek a replacement for Jan Vertonghen.
Jose Mourinho does have Eric Dier, Davinson Sanchez and Toby Alderweireld at his disposal, but one more centre back is needed.
The main name being linked with the club is Kim Min-jae, with the Beijing Guoan defender believed to be a top target.
Son Heung-min’s international teammate has impressed in China, and 90Min claimed last month that Tottenham are confident of signing Kim.
No deal has been done or even looks close, so there is work to be done for Spurs – and Kim is back in action over in China now.
Beijin Guoan drew 3-3 with Qingdao Huanghai on Sunday, and Kim has been blasted for his performance in that draw.

As quoted by Sohu, commentator Li Xin slated Kim for giving the ball away outside his own area, suggesting that Kim’s attitude wasn’t good enough and doesn’t want to play for Beijing Guoan anymore.
There was a suggestion that his heart just isn’t in it anymore amid those Tottenham rumours, but his disappointing display may be something of a red flag for Spurs.
