Lewis Hamilton’s first Ferrari win had barely sunk in before Kim Kardashian appeared on FaceTime to hear his reaction.
Barcelona was already a huge moment for Hamilton’s career.
The post-race scene added another layer to the growing attention around his relationship with Kardashian.
Kim Kardashian’s FaceTime follows Lewis Hamilton’s Ferrari win
F1 photographer Kym Illman spotted Hamilton heading toward the media pen with Kardashian on the other end of a FaceTime call after his Barcelona victory.
“Fresh from his victory in Barcelona, Lewis Hamilton made his way to the media pen with a very familiar name on the other end of a FaceTime call. Kim Kardashian appeared on speaker and asked, “How do you feel?” Lewis’ response was short, simple, and said it all: ‘Unreal.’”
The exchange captured the mood perfectly. Hamilton had just claimed his first Grand Prix win for Ferrari, finally validating his move to Maranello after a long wait.
Kardashian’s presence has already become part of the 2026 F1 narrative. She attended the Monaco Grand Prix, where Hamilton finished second, and he later spoke about the importance of having good people around him.
Lewis Hamilton’s Ferrari form has completely flipped
Fans have been joking for weeks that Hamilton’s form with Ferrari has taken a 180-degree turn since he was first linked with Kardashian over the winter break.

It is easy to see why, given the difference in numbers. In his first season with Ferrari in 2025, Hamilton managed no wins, no podiums, and no poles and finished sixth in the drivers’ standings with 156 points.
This season has been a different story. After Barcelona, Hamilton sits second in the standings with 115 points, behind Mercedes’ Kimi Antonelli. He has his first Ferrari win and four podiums this season, with momentum building after three straight podium finishes in Montreal, Monaco, and Barcelona.
The win in Barcelona was also dominant. Hamilton finished nearly 20 seconds ahead of George Russell, with Lando Norris making it an all-British podium. Antonelli retired late, while Mercedes showed more signs of vulnerability.
That could have an impact on the title race. Hamilton is still chasing, not leading, but Ferrari now looks like a dark horse threat if Mercedes continues to struggle with reliability and execution.
Whether Kardashian is an inspiration or just a high-profile supporter, Hamilton’s response spoke volumes. After a tough first year in red, winning for Ferrari finally felt unreal for all the right reasons.
