A fan asked former Celtic youngster Dominic Thomas about the possibility of him signing for Rangers – and the winger has made his feelings clear.
Kilmarnock winger Jordan Jones (above, left) was rewarded for his fine domestic form with a senior international debut in the second leg of Northern Ireland’s World Cup play-off defeat to Switzerland on Sunday evening.
But Jones is not the only Killie winger to have earned rave reviews so far this season. Fellow youngster Dominic Thomas has been impressive for the Rugby Park club after moving from league rivals Motherwell in the summer.
Thomas has made eight appearances in the Scottish Premiership for Kilmarnock in 2017/18 and it appears that the Scotland Under-21 international is more than happy with his current life at in East Ayrshire.
Because, when he was asked on Twitter about a potential move to domestic giants Rangers, Thomas could hardly have responded in a more emphatic fashion.
Thomas has only Tweeted on eleven occasions since creating his account earlier this month but it appears that the 21-year-old is not one to toe the party line and spout out PR drivel and Adidas sponsorships.
And the fact that the Glasgow-born winger is a product of Celtic’s youth academy should perhaps explain why he is so keen to dispel any notion about a potential move to the blue half of Scotland’s second city.
There is no indication that Rangers are interested in Thomas just yet but if the winger maintains his promising start to life with Kilmarnock and finds himself linked with some of Scotland’s biggest sides, the youngster has already nailed his green and white colours to the mast.
