The Aston Villa youngster is set to head out on loan again.
Aston Villa youngster Aaron Tshibola is poised to join Kilmarnock on loan and the deal could be a very important one for the midfielder as far as his career with his parent club is concerned.
Tshibola joined Villa in 2016 but has made just ten appearances for the club and has struggled to make a major impact.
Loan spells at Nottingham Forest and MK Dons last season didn’t go to plan but that didn’t deter Kilmarnock from making an approach for the 23-year-old, as reported by The Daily Record.
Tshibola is now at a stage where he needs to be playing and performing regularly as he seeks to start to fulfil his potential, and this loan move is crucial for him as he aims to prove that he can still be a success at Villa.
Kilmarnock manager Steve Clarke has previous experience of working with Tshibola, having managed him at Reading before being assistant manager at Villa for a spell.
It is hoped that Clarke will be able to bring the best out of Tshibola, and the youngster will be especially determined to demonstrate his credentials.
