Myles Beerman made his debut for Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers in their goalless draw with Kilmarnock.

Kilmarnock forward Conor Sammon has admitted that he was impressed by Rangers debutant Myles Beerman during the Gers’ goalless draw with Killie at Rugby Park on Wednesday, and tipped the youngster for a bright future, The Scottish Sun reports.
Beerman was one of two surprise inclusions in Pedro Caixinha’s side for the clash, with David Bates also coming in to make his first-team debut for the Light Blues.
And while Rangers may have been disappointed with the result – the stalemate has left them 12 points behind Aberdeen in the race for second in the Scottish Premiership with just seven games to go – the two debutants can probably be proud of their displays, as they helped the side keep a clean sheet.
And Sammon outlined what he made of the Maltese defender’s performance in the draw.
“He’s a smallish full-back but I thought he did well,” he said, as reported by The Scottish Sun.
Rangers manager Pedro Caixinha
“You can see he has a bright future in the game.”
While Rangers will want to do everything they can to catch the Dons before the curtain comes down on the season, missing out on second place could be turned into a positive heading into the next campaign as it may allow Caixinha to use the youngsters more often.
Giving them the opportunities now may help them next term as they can take some time to adapt to the demands of first-team football before the pressure ramps up once again at the start of next season.
