Rangers boss wants plastic pitches banned.

Rangers boss Steven Gerrard has spoken out against Kilmarnock’s plastic pitch.
The Gers head to Kilmarnock tonight to take on Steve Clarke’s title challenging side.
Earlier in the season Rangers winger Jamie Murphy suffered an ACL injury which was blamed on the plastic pitch at Kilmarnock.
Rangers boss Gerrard wants plastic pitches banned from Scottish football.
He told BBC Sport: “I’ve already given my opinion on plastic pitches at the elite level of football and they should be nowhere to be seen.
“I can’t change that in 24 hours. I do know that every single manager at this level doesn’t want plastic pitches.”

Rangers player Scott Arfield has also spoken out about his dislike of artificial playing surfaces.
