West Ham United returned to winning ways in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon, as they got the better of Huddersfield Town 4-1 away from home.

Many would have expected the Hammers to struggle at the Kirklees Stadium given their recent form, but the London club produced a superb display.

Mark Noble, Marco Arnautovic and Manuel Lanzini (two) scored the goals for West Ham, who were the better team during the match.

It was one of David Moyes’s side’s best performances so far this season, with winger Arnautovic and attacking midfielder Lanzini stealing the show.

Former West Bromwich Albion and Everton star Kevin Kilbane was following the match, and the ex-Republic of Ireland was impressed with the performances of Arnautovic and Lanzini.

Kilbane told BBC Sport (16:23): “Looking at David Moyes and West Ham – Manuel Lanzini and Marko Arnautovic are their two best players – and Moyes has got them playing again.

“They’re the two best players on the pitch, and West Ham look a different class already, they’re a totally different team to the one we saw before Moyes took over.”

Meanwhile, former West Ham winger Matthew Etherington was pleased to see Noble playing well for the Hammers.

The 30-year-old central midfielder, who has been at the Hammers his entire professional career so far, did well against Huddersfield.
