The Tottenham Hotspur right-back has struggled for a lot of this season.

Kieran Trippier has admitted to The Telegraph that he hasn’t had a brilliant season with Tottenham Hotspur.
The Spurs right-back began the 2018-19 campaign as a national hero after a storming World Cup campaign with England, helping the Three Lions to the semi-final in Russia.
But it’s been a different story at club level for the Tottenham defender, who joined from Burnley for £3.5 million in 2015 [The Telegraph].
Gareth Southgate’s decision to name him in his latest England squad was met with derision from neutral fans, especially considering that Crystal Palace star Aaron Wan-Bissaka was omitted.
Speaking to The Telegraph, Trippier admitted: “I could have done a lot better this season. I’ve picked up a lot of injuries and there’s been games when I’ve looked back and watched, and thought ‘I could have done this better’, ‘I could have done that better’.
“It’s all about learning, but I admit I could have done a lot better. I am here now and I need to try to impress to try and start for England and try and do the best I can with every opportunity I get between now and the end of the season.”
The fact that Trippier is aware of his shortcomings is a positive thing, but Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino must consider drafting in a new right-back this summer nonetheless.
Trippier and Serge Aurier do not inspire the utmost confidence and, really, the North Londoners were a better side when Kyle Walker was the regular right-back.
