Celtic defender Kieran Tierney appears keen to stay with the club.

Celtic defender Kieran Tierney has offered fans exactly what they wanted to hear by telling The Times that he sees his long-term future with the Bhoys.
Tierney, 20, has come up through the ranks with Celtic having joined the club at the age of just seven, signing for his boyhood club in the process.
Born in the Isle of Man but now a Scotland international, Tierney has thrived since emerging in 2015, and has now racked up more than 120 appearances for Celtic.
With two league titles under his belt and a third on the way, Tierney has enjoyed a remarkable start at Celtic – but that has sparked interest in his signature.

In light of The Mirror reporting that Manchester United are eyeing up a summer bid for the left back, Tierney has told The Times that he sees his long-term future with Celtic, not anywhere else.
“I’m not thinking about anyone other than Celtic just now,” said Tierney. “I’m enjoying my career here; I’ve just signed a six-year deal, so if that doesn’t say long term, I don’t know what does,” he added.
Tierney’s comments will be a boost for manager Brendan Rodgers, but should still impact Celtic’s transfer business this summer, as another left back may be needed to offer cover for Tierney.
Calvin Miller is the only recognised cover for him right now, and with Tierney no doubt set to leave Celtic at some point in the near future, grooming another left back to eventually fill in would be ideal for the Bhoys.
