Celtic recorded a comfortable win against Rangers on Sunday, whilst Arsenal had to share the spoils with Tottenham Hotspur.

Kieran Tierney has stated on Instagram that Celtic ‘deserved’ their win against Rangers, whilst he praised Arsenal for their ‘fight’ against Tottenham.
It was a day for the big derby matches on Sunday, with Tierney’s former club Celtic securing a comprehensive 2-0 win at Ibrox and he watched on from the sidelines as his new club, Arsenal came from two goals down to record a point in the North London derby.
Unai Emery’s side are still above Spurs in the Premier League table, whilst the Bhoys are the only team with a 100% record in the Scottish Premiership.
Left-back Tierney is still coming back from injury, as he is yet to make his debut for the Gunners and after playing in the Old Firm in Scotland, he will no doubt want to get a taste of one of England’s fiercest derbies.
Nonetheless, after both matches had finished, Tierney posted these messages on his personal Instagram account to his former club and his current club.

There’s no doubt that Tierney has left a big hole at Parkhead, but what is Celtic’s loss is no doubt Arsenal’s gain.
Tierney will be keen to get onto the pitch as quickly as possible because they require that defensive quality and if they want to finish in the top-four, they need players such as him on the pitch.
In his absence, Saed Kolasinac played at left-back against Spurs, with Nacho Monreal recently joining Spanish side Real Sociedad [BBC Sport].
