West Bromwich Albion are currently enduring a poor run of form in the Premier League.

After losing 3-2 to Manchester City at The Hawthorns at the weekend, Pulis’ men sit 15th in the Premier League table, with just 10 points from their opening 10 games – leaving them just two points above the bottom three.
The fans have not been able to celebrate a victory since August, with eight top flight games coming since the 1-0 win over Burnley at Turf Moor.
And while that has seemingly led to a number of the fans turning on Pulis and wanting for the former Stoke boss to be sacked, Gibbs is adamant that the Welshman retains the full support of the playing squad despite their recent run.
“Definitely,” he said, as reported by the Express and Star, when asked whether Pulis is still being backed by the team. “It’s still really early in the season and there’s no reason for anyone to be behaving like that (not pulling in the right direction). Results haven’t gone our way in the last few weeks.”
While Gibbs has handed Pulis a vote of confidence, perhaps it may not be out of the question to suggest that the board may not agree with him if they do not manage to end their wait for a win in their next game – a trip to Huddersfield – especially with a tough run coming up after the international break.
