Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers boss Steven Gerard is said to be keen on Everton man Kieran Dowell.

Glasgow Rangers are said to be after Kieran Dowell from Everton, and he could be Steven Gerrard’s most exciting signing yet at Ibrox.
And the transfer could potentially be a really exciting one for Rangers fans, as Dowell would bring goals and creativity to their midfield ranks.
Dowell has struggled for game time at Everton this season, but he has already proven beyond any doubt he is capable of playing at senior level.
The youngster blasted in 10 goals in the Championship last season from his central midfield base for Nottingham Forest, and that shows just how exciting he could be for Rangers.
If Gerrard could add even more of a goalscoring threat to his side then Rangers may just have enough quality in their squad to sustain their title challenge for the entire season.

With Dowell added Rangers would have the sort of firepower that could blow away the rest of Scotland.
And Rangers must also feel that they have a chance of making the move a permanent one.
Dowell has barely featured for Everton, and at 21 he is reaching an age where he needs to play regularly.
If Rangers could give him regular football he may be persuaded that a switch to Ibrox would be smart for his career, and if he was to arrive in Scotland then he would immediately be one of the finest talents plying their trade in the country.
