Arsenal new boy Salah-Eddine rubbed shoulders with some pretty big names at London Colney on Friday.

The 18-year-old signed for Arsenal two weeks ago as a youth player.

But it would appear as if he has already caught Mikel Arteta’s attention.

Arteta promoted the former Feyenoord midfielder to senior training yesterday, as photos show him training alongside Rob Holding and Joe Willock, though many more high-profile figures were there.

The Gunners signed a number of young players in and around the same time as the Dutchman – nicknamed Salah – and here’s how player reacted on Instagram to the experience:

The goal for any Under-23 player, at any club, should be to play your way into the senior manager’s consciousness. And going by the photo he posted on Instagram, Arteta is certainly aware of Salah.

The Spanish manager puts a great deal of emphasis on how the players apply themselves in training, and if Salah continues to give 100 hundred percent in sessions then it’ll only increase the likelyhood of Arteta taking a chance on him.

He’s very unlikely to play in the Premier League, but there’s three cup competitions that Arsenal are known for using young players in initially and if Salah is still impressing when they start, why not?
