Newcastle United are currently seven points clear of the drop zone in the Premier League.

Newcastle won their last match 1-0 to virtually secure their Premier League status for another year.
And Ki admits that Newcastle’s players knew before the game that they would be taking a huge step closer to safety by winning at the King Power Stadium.
“I think the boys said before the game it could be job done if we won,” he revealed.
“We knew it would be difficult at Leicester as they won the last four games.
“But we were disciplined and we spoke about the need for three points and that if we got them it will probably be enough to stay in the Premier League.”
Newcastle are still not mathematically clear of relegation, but it would take a shocking turn of events for them to get into trouble.

The Magpies should be able to play with some added freedom until the end of the campaign now, with the pressure relenting.
Newcastle’s next match comes against Southampton on Saturday at St. James’ Park.
If Benitez’s men can pick up the three points then they could move up to 12th place in the Premier League table.
