Napoli forward Khvicha Kvaratskhelia has cast doubt over his future in Naples despite Antonio Conte insisting the forward would remain at the club.
Khvicha Kvaratshkelia has been linked with a move to the Premier League for a long time with HITC reporting that a whole host of clubs from England were keen on the Georgian winger.
Kvaratskhelia netted for his national side during a 2-0 win over Portugal as they miraculously qualified for the last 16 of the 2024 European Championships in Germany.
New Napoli manager Antonio Conte has insisted that the Georgian winger will remain in Naples but it appears that Kvaratskhelia does not mirror the Italian’s confidence that he will remain in Serie A.

Kvaratskhelia casts doubt on Napoli future
Quotes have emerged from the Georgian winger in the aftermath of his national team’s 2-0 victory over Cristiano Ronaldo’s Portugal.
Speaking to Italian outlet Gazzetta Dello Sport, the winger has kept his cards close to his chest and has not committed his future to the Italian giants, despite the words of Conte.
“I respect Conte,” Kvaratskhelia said, “he is one of the best coaches in the world, I respect Napoli, I love Napoli but I will decide my future after the European Championships, now I am happy here with Georgia.”
Manchester United, Manchester City, Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool are understood to hold an interest in the 24-year-old, whilst Real Madrid and Barcelona also like the winger.
Despite Napoli’s struggles in Serie A last season, Kvaratskhelia scored 11 times and provided nine assists in all competitions.
Conte insists Kvaratskhelia will stay
As per Fabrizio Romano on X, the former Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur manager, who is the new Napoli boss, insisted the winger will remain.
“There are no doubts,” Conte said. “Khvicha Kvaratskhelia stays here and he will play for Napoli. There are no doubts, it’s all clear. Kvara will stay here with us”.
The winger’s father Badri Kvaratskhelia seems to echo Conte’s view when he told Radio TV Serie A: “Only he will be able to choose whether to stay in Naples in the future, and I will respect every decision he makes.
“In my opinion, he will decide to continue wearing the Napoli shirt.”
