Tottenham Hotspur’s Hugo Lloris says he is now happy.

Hugo Lloris has told French television he considered quitting Tottenham Hotspur before Mauricio Pochettino was appointed as manager.
Lloris signed for Spurs in 2012, with Pochettino appointed in 2014 after two seasons under Andre Villas-Boas and Tim Sherwood.
Lloris said: “If I’ve ever considered a departure from Tottenham? The question, I asked myself after two years at the club, before meeting Mauricio Pochettino.
“PSG last summer? No, although I have a lot of respect for PSG. I am focused on the schedule of Spurs.”

In 2013/14 Spurs slid down the table as they experienced a difficult year following Gareth Bale’s exit, and they finished in sixth place.
Lloris played in the Champions League previously for Lyon and his worries at the time about Tottenham’s direction were understandable.
His decision to stick with Mauricio Pochettino appears to be a good one, and last year he signed a new contract taking him up until 2022.
Lloris is now getting ready to feature in the Champions League group stages for Spurs against Juventus next month, and they will fancy their chances of a big result.
