Reiss Nelson has stated that Bukayo Saka is a ‘key player’ for Arsenal and he is hoping the injury he suffered during Arsenal’s 5-0 win over Nottingham Forest ‘isn’t too serious’, as he told Premier League Productions (30/10/22 at 4:00 pm).
What is one man’s loss is another man’s gain because Nelson was the one brought on in place of Saka when he went off injured after 27 minutes.
Just moments before, Saka supplied the assist to help Gabriel Martinelli open the scoring for Arsenal and the scores remained that way right up until the break.

That’s when Nelson came into his own and blew Forest away with a brilliant brace and assist to help Mikel Arteta’s side return to the top of the Premier League table.
Ahead of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, the most minor of knocks is worrying players and Saka will be no different right now.
Nelson spoke highly about his fellow Hale-End academy product after today’s match and how Arsenal are ‘happy’ to have him in the team.
“He’s a key player to us,” said Nelson. “Hopefully, it’s not too serious. I am going to check now if he’s okay. He’s a great player. A great boy and I’m happy to have him in the team.”

SAKA IS A STARTER FOR ARSENAL AND ENGLAND
There is no doubt that Gareth Southgate will select Saka for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, and given his form, he should be starting that opening game against Iran.
It’s less than a month away because on November 21, the Three Lions will be taking to a major tournament again after the heartache of Euro 2020.
The likes of Raheem Sterling, Phil Foden and Jack Grealish have started ahead of Saka before, but in truth, the Arsenal star is outperforming Sterling and Grealish put together this season.
