Kevin Wimmer could be set for a run of matches in Tottenham Hotspur’s starting line-up.
Kevin Wimmer’s agent, Mithat Hallis, has told ESPN that Tottenham Hotspur have rejected offers for the centre-back already this January.
Wimmer has struggled for appearances at Spurs this season, but Mauricio Pochettino remains an admirer of the 24-year-old.
And Hallis claims that Tottenham have already fended off interest from a range of clubs to ensure that they keep hold of the Austrian international.

“Cologne made an offer. There have been a few offers from the Premier League and the Bundesliga. There is a lot of interest,” the agent said.
“Tottenham do not want to sell. All offers have been turned down and he is staying.”
The identities of the Premier League clubs interested in Wimmer are unknown, but it seems unlikely that he will make a move.

Spurs need Wimmer now, with Jan Vertonghen set to miss out on a sizeable chunk of the season.
Vertonghen damaged his ankle in his last appearance, and Wimmer looks like the most likely replacement for the Belgian in Pochettino’s starting line-up.
Tottenham are next in action at the weekend, when they take on Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium.
