Tottenham Hotspur beat Crvena zvezda 5-0 on Tuesday night.

Harry Kane is widely seen as Tottenham Hotspur’s main man, but there may just be a growing case that Son Heung-min is just as important.
Spurs were back in action on Tuesday night, hosting Serbian side Crvena Zvezda in the Champions League, and needed a result after a disappointing 1-1 draw at home to Watford on Saturday.
Tottenham were fantastic throughout, and raced into a 3-0 lead as Erik Lamela crossed for Harry Kane to open the scoring, before Son added two to give Spurs a 3-0 lead at the break.
Lamela added the fourth and Kane grabbed a fifth, giving Mauricio Pochettino a much-needed resounding victory, with Son taking plenty of plaudits.
The South Korean star is one of the most popular players at Tottenham, but beyond his happy-go-lucky demeanour, he has become absolutely vital for Pochettino.
His endless running and never-say-die attitude is matched by his pace, drive, technique and finishing ability, making him one of the most dangerous and versatile attackers in the Premier League.
Son has deservedly been nominated for the Ballon d’Or, and after taking to Instagram to celebrate last night’s win, he received a message from one of his former Spurs teammates.
Defender Kevin Wimmer – now at Royal Excelsior Mouscron in Belgium – has really dipped since Daniel Levy managed to get £18million for him in 2017 (Telegraph), but he is clearly still watching Spurs.
Wimmer’s friendship with Son has been well-known for four years now, and the Austrian backed his pal once again, offering just four words after his display: ‘Ballon d’Or is coming’, supporting his unlikely case to take the crown.
