Pedro Caixinha’s Glasgow Rangers are reportedly interested in signing Aberdeen’s Ryan Jack in the summer transfer window.

Kevin Thomson has written in The Scotsman that Aberdeen defensive midfielder Ryan Jack would be a good signing for Rangers.
According to The Glasgow Evening Times, Rangers are set to sign Jack in the summer transfer window.
The former Scotland Under-21 international is set to leave Scottish Premiership outfit Aberdeen, meaning that the Gers will be able to snap up the 25-year-old defensive midfielder on a fee transfer.

Former Hibernian and Rangers midfielder Thomson, who is 32 years of age, believes that Jack would be a good signing for Pedro Caixinha’s side.
Thomson has also stated that for the 25-year-old to be a success at Rangers, he will have to get on top of Scott Brown.
Brown, who is 31 years of age, is one of the best midfielders in the Scottish Premiership and was in brilliant form for Celtic this past season.

“I’ve always liked him,” Thomson wrote about Jack in The Scotsman. “He is similar to me in that he is a sitting midfielder.
“If and when he does move to Rangers he is going to have a big challenge in getting on top of Scott Brown – that’s his direct competition.
“He struggled to do that at times for Aberdeen. Moving to Ibrox, if that is where he ends up, is a big challenge for him but one he has to take.
“It gives him a bigger profile as a player and it’s better financially. It’s also a better opportunity to push himself into the Scotland squad playing in front of 50,000 every two weeks.”
Aberdeen finished second in the Scottish Premiership this past season with 76 points from 38 matches, while Rangers ended up third with 67 points.
