Former Ibrox midfielder Kevin Thomson has sent a message to Rangers youngster Dapo Mebude on Twitter following his debut at the weekend.
Mebude featured for Rangers in their Scottish Premiership game against Kilmarnock away from home at Rugby Park on Sunday afternoon.
The 17-year-old centre-forward did not start the match, but the teenager came on as a substitute in the 63rd minute.
Former Rangers midfielder Thomson was pleased to see Mebude make his first-team debut for the Gers, and has sent the teenager a message on Twitter.

Promising future
Mebude is only 17 years of age, and it is hard to envisage him establish himself in the Rangers first team soon.
The centre-forward has done well playing for the youth team, and the teenager’s progress and development has been very encouraging.
If Mebude get chances for the Rangers first team from time to time next season and trains hard, then it will help him make get better and become a star for the Gers in the coming years.
