Liverpool under-23s picked up a brilliant win against their Tottenham Hotspur counterparts this afternoon – and it was a special moment from Kevin Stewart t wing them the game.
Marcus Edwards and Will Miller had given Spurs a 2-0 lead in the game.
Harry Wilson then scored from the penalty spot and Sheyi Ojo then found the net after an excellent solo run.
The winning goal however came from a Stewart header. He bulleted home a cross from Trent Alexander-Arnold to give Liverpool the win.

Stewart would have relished the goal, as it came against a former team.
The midfielder spent four years at Tottenham as a younger player, spending time out on loan at Crewe Alexandra during his time at the club.

But he left the club in 2014, following his former academy coach Alex Inglethorpe from Tottenham to Liverpool.
He has gone on to impress at Liverpool and has been a feature in the first-team in recent years.
There is no doubt that Stewart will be happy to have scored the winner against his former club.
