Former Everton prospect John Lundstram scored for Sheffield United against Crystal Palace on Sunday.

Kevin Sheedy has praised former Everton prospect John Lundstram on Twitter following his performance for Sheffield United against Crystal Palace at the weekend.
Lundstram scored for United against Palace at Bramall Lane in the Premier League on Sunday.
The 25-year-old midfielder found the net just two minutes into the second half, as the Blades won 1-0.
Everton legend Sheedy was following the match, and he has hailed Lundstram on Twitter and believes that he is an “inspiration” for young players for the way he has progressed in his career since his departure from the Toffees.
The English midfielder struggled to break into the Everton first team and left the Toffees on a permanent contract in 2015 after a plethora of spells out on loan.
Lundstram was at Oxford United from 2015 until 2017 before making the switch to Sheffield United.
According to WhoScored, the midfielder has scored one goal in two Premier League appearances for United this season.

During the 2018-19 campaign, the 25-year-old made five starts and five substitute appearances in the Championship for United, while in 2017-18, he made 21 starts and 15 substitute appearances in the league for the Blades, according to WhoScored.
