Kevin Nolan has suggested that if West Ham United had sacked David Moyes this season, then he would have been up for other Premier League jobs, as he raised the question about Leeds United.
Back in February, Leeds United booted out Jesse Marsch and brought in former Watford boss, Javi Gracia – although, the process took far longer and he wasn’t their first choice.
Whilst the powers that be at Elland Road pulled the trigger, those at West Ham, also in a relegation battle with the Whites, decided to back David Moyes.

As of this moment, the Hammers, who are in with a chance of winning the Europa Conference League this term, are sitting 14th in the Premier League table, three points off the drop, whilst Leeds are two points from 18th-placed Nottingham Forest.
The duo are still deep in a relegation battle, as West Ham coach Nolan spoke about the support from within and suggested that Moyes would have got other prem jobs if he became available during these past few months, as he told BBC Radio 5 Live Sport.
“David Sullivan is someone who has always backed his man,” said Nolan. “He has always thought ‘you know what, I am going to give him the opportunity because he has got us to this position and give him the chance to get us out’.
“If David Moyes becomes available, in the last six or seven weeks ago, would he be up for the Leeds job? Would he be up for every other job that becomes available to keep everyone in the Premier League?
“He (West Ham co-owner) has looked at it and gone ‘no, I have to back my guy’ – I always feel that you have got the support.”

LEEDS AND WEST HAM SHOULD SURVIVE
Both have something in common and that’s getting beat 5-1 at home in recent weeks. For the Hammers, it was against Champions League-chasing, Newcastle.
It was worse for Leeds because it came against a fellow relegation rival, Crystal Palace, who sent shockwaves around Yorkshire with their performance.
But whilst West Ham bounced back with a win and a clean sheet at Fulham. Garcia’s side has every chance to do that against Liverpool on Monday night on home soil.
