The midfielder has been in fine form for Notts County this season, and returned to his best at the weekend.
Jorge Grant of Notts County
Nottingham Forest fans were not best pleased to see midfielder Jorge Grant loaned out to local rivals Notts County again this season, after his excellent second half of the season at Meadow Lane last term.
He once again looked a top talent for County this season but recently found himself in a dip of form.
After scoring 16 goals this season before the turn of the year the 23-year-old midfielder suddenly saw the goals dry up, with just one in 2018 before the weekend.

With that in mind the Forest man was dropped by Notts boss Kevin Nolan. His response was perfect. He came into the fixture with Stevenage at the weekend in the 65th minute and 10 minutes later scored the deadlock breaker as the Magpies went on to claim a 2-0 win.
After the game, Nolan was high in his praise of the Forest loanee, telling BBC Nottingham Sport:
“I am delighted with that and Jorge’s attitude was fantastic. When he came on, he looked really good and had that clear mind back.
“I thought he took his goal fantastically well and I was delighted for him.”

His recent drop in form would no doubt have worried Forest fans, who are still hopefully Grant can return and have an impact at the City Ground.
But he has clearly got a fantastic mentality after this latest episode in his spell at Meadow Lane. Instead of sulking, Grant got back out on the pitch and rescued three points for his side’s promotion push.
Nottingham Forest fans would love to see such attitude on show in red next season.
