West Ham United are currently in 15th place in the Premier League table.

Kevin Nolan has told the Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast Show, which was broadcast on TalkSPORT on 5th May, that West Ham United need to stick by Slaven Bilic.

Bilic’s future at West Ham has been called into question in recent weeks.

The Hammers board are reportedly planning to sit down with Bilic to discuss his future at the end of the campaign.

Rafael Benitez and Marco Silva have both been linked with getting the job at the London Stadium (The Telegraph).

But Nolan does not believe that West Ham should even be considering parting company with Bilic.

“I think it’s a bit harsh with what’s going on with Slaven at the minute,” the former Hammers midfielder said.

“Slav’s done an unbelievable job with a move to the new stadium. Everyone finds it difficult moving to a new stadium. I think Slav will find it difficult moving it from an Olympic Stadium to a football stadium.

“West Ham have got to give Slav the time to build, because behind the scenes there has been a lot going on.”

West Ham finished last season in seventh place in the Premier League table, but they have failed to push on this time around.

The Hammers are currently in 15th spot, which has left many supporters disappointing.

Bilic’s side are next in action later this evening, when they take on Tottenham Hotspur.
