Morelos scored his 11th goal of the season for Rangers on Sunday.

Kevin Kyle has told Open Goal’s ‘Keeping The Ball On The Ground’ that Alfredo Morelos has got to cut out the “stupid wee things” and reckons Morelos is worth £10million, if Moussa Dembele is worth £20million.
Morelos, 22, has scored 11 goals for Rangers in just 19 league and cup appearances as well as creating six assists for Steven Gerrard’s side – including the Gers’ second in a 3-1 win over Hearts on Sunday afternoon.
But the Colombian still has his critics, with many still concerned about his lack of discipline that has seen him sent off twice this season already – as well as picking up a needless yellow card against Ayr.
That yellow sees him miss the Scottish League Cup semi-final against Aberdeen and former Rangers striker Kyle believes Morelos has to remove the mistakes from his game to reach the top – comparing his value to ex-Celtic man Dembele.
“He’s one of them where you go away from the match so frustrated, because he offers so many good things,” Kyle said. “He’s one of these players that are finely tuned, but under Gerrard, he will get the best out of Morelos.
“He’s silly off the ball but I think Gerrard will turn him into a top striker because I think there is everything there for him to be a top striker. It’s about cutting out the stupid wee things. He’s taking two steps forward and one step back.
“If Celtic can sell a player, like Dembele for £20million, then there is no question that Rangers can sell a player for £10million.”

Morelos’ form under Gerrard has even seen the former HJK Helsinki striker earn his first cap for Colombia, as he takes his overall tally to 29 goals in 62 games for Rangers.
The striker was the subject of interest from the top tier of French football in the summer, with clubs such as Bordeaux and Rennes linked with his signature. Morelos has a contract until the summer of 2022.
