Rangers signed Kamara from Dundee in the January transfer window for a fee reported by The Daily Record to be worth £50,000.
The 23-year-old midfielder has initially agreed a pre-contract with Rangers, but the Gers wanted to get the youngster in the January transfer window and decided to pay a transfer fee for him.
The Finland international was an important player for Dundee, and without the former Arsenal prospect, the Dee finished at the foot of the Scottish Premiership table and have been relegated to the Scottish Championship.
As for Rangers, Kamara was a star in the Gers’ midfield in the second half of the season and helped Gerrard’s team finish second in the Scottish Premiership.

Former Rangers striker Kyle has suggested that Dundee made a mistake in selling Kamara in January, and that they should have kept hold of him until te end of the season.
Kyle said on Open Goal: “I loved the boy Kamara, which is another strange decision. I know the £50,000 or whatever it was they got for him, that £50,000 would have been better to stay if they had stayed in the league. In the long term they would get that money back.”
