Everton owner Farhad Moshiri has come under criticism this season.

Moshiri has faced a great deal of criticism this season, despite a large investment.
The Everton owner has had question asked about his long-term strategy and decision making.
However, Kilbane insists that Moshiri is blameless in Everton’s disappointing season, as he has given the Toffees plenty of money to spend.

“I don’t think you can question Farhad Moshiri because he has put his hand in his pocket,” Moshiri said.
“He can ask questions of other people at the club as to why they are not producing what they thought they were going to get. And he is quite within his rights to ask those questions.”
Despite Kilbane’s defence of Moshiri, Everton fans have certainly not considered him blameless.

Moshiri’s managerial appointments have come under questions, with both Ronald Koeman and Sam Allardyce failing to live up to expectations this season.
Everton are currently in ninth place in the Premier League table, and they have not been able to put any pressure on the top six.
Everton are next in action tomorrow when they take on Burnley at Turf Moor.
