The 27-year-old joined Tottenham Hotspur from Newcastle United this week.

Kevin Kilbane has told Newstalk that he is not convinced Tottenham Hotspur should have splashed out £30 million on signing Moussa Sissoko.
The 27-year-old became Tottenham’s all-time record signing on deadline day following his big-money switch from Newcastle United.

His move to Spurs came in a summer in which Sissoko starred for France at Euro 2016, and was arguably their best player in their defeat by Portugal in the final.
But he was far from one of Newcastle’s best players last term in a campaign which saw the Magpies relegated from the Premier League.
And although Kilbane claims that the winger has potential, the former Republic of Ireland defender is not convinced that he is worth the money which the North Londoners spent on him.

“Where’s his consistency been for the last two years? You could count on one hand, over two years, the amount of good games he’s had for Newcastle,” he told Newstalk.
“He’s frustrating to watch, but he’s got something and you want him to show it more consistently because of the ability that he’s got, but £30 million? That’s an incredible amount of money for him.”
Of course, Sissoko fetched a lot of money, but if he can recreate the level of performance he showed during the Euros then Tottenham fans will be happy for the most part.
He looked a completely different player to the one who was relegated with Newcastle, and Spurs supporters will hope to see the same energy, drive and passion from their big-money man this season and beyond.
