Everton, Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur are all reportedly in the race for the talented striker.

New Toffees boss Sam Allardyce has his work cut-out, if he is to guide his side to a top seven finish this term, after their miserable start to the 2017/18 Premier League campaign.
One particular area where the 63-year-old will want to improve upon is his attacking options, and Spanish media outlet Don Balon claim that Everton are one of the front-runners for Atletico Madrid hitman Kevin Gameiro.
With Tottenham and Newcastle also interested in the 30-year-old hitman, the Blues will have to act quickly if they want to secure the Frenchman’s signature.

Gameiro is a top class talent, and he would be a sensational signing for the Toffees – one that could propel them into a top seven finish, and at least match last season’s efforts.
The 30-year-old is an established, proven striker, having played at the very top level for the past decade, and his robust playing style would be perfectly suited to the physical nature of the Premier League.
He is a lethal finisher when presented with a goalscoring opportunity, but it is his all-round game that would make him such a good addition to the Everton squad.

Gameiro is strong in the air, and competent when playing with his back to goal – something that would make him the perfect strike partner for Wayne Rooney, who prefers to operate in a deeper role.
With so much competition for his signature, it will obviously not be easy to win the race to sign the Atleti man, but if Sam Allardyce does manage to bring him to Goodison Park, it could turn out to be a signing of real significance for the Blues.
