Sheffield United boss Chris Wilder is keen to recruit another wide player.
Former Sheffield United midfielder Kevin Gage is keen to see Graham Carey in Blades colours.
The Plymouth Argyle winger has been mentioned on social media as a possible target for United boss Chris Wilder, although there has been no official link as yet between the Yorkshire side and Carey.

Carey scored 15 goals and created 16 in 54 outings last season as Plymouth finished second in League Two. However, the 28-year-old could be on the move this summer, with his contract at Home Park coming to an end on Friday.
Sheffield United, meanwhile, are known to be in the market for another wide player, with Wilder already admitting an interest in Charlton Athletic’s Ricky Holmes
However, in an interview with the BBC on Tuesday, the 49-year-old revealed he is ready to turn his back on a number of targets if they cannot be finalised this week.
Whether Carey is one of those remains to be seen, although Gage would certainly welcome the Irishman’s arrival at Bramall Lane – describing him as a cross between two of his old teammates Glyn Hodges and Dane Whitehouse.
