Glasgow Rangers winger Daniel Candeias joined the Ibrox club in the summer of 2017 and is playing well for Graeme Murty’s side at the moment.

Candeias has established himself as a key player in Graeme Murty’s team and is playing regularly for Rangers at the moment.
The 30-year-old winger has scored four goals and provided seven assists in 29 Scottish Premiership appearances for the Gers so far this season, according to Transfermarkt.co.uk.
The Portuguese joined Rangers from Benfica in the summer of 2017 for a transfer fee reported by BBC Sport to be worth £700,000.
Former Rangers centre-forward Drinkell, who played for the Ibrox club in the 1980s and was a fan favourite at the Gers, has a theory why Candeias is playing so well at the moment.

Drinkell told The Scottish Sun: “I thought Daniel Candeias was a bit hit and miss in the early stages of the season. He seems now to be a bit more focused, a little bit more direct.
“Maybe that’s to do with the team. It’s been a settled line-up over a period of time, and that can only help. You begin to understand your team-mates better.”
“It would seem the Rangers fans are behind him and that’s vital for any player,” added Drinkell. “Candeias will be getting a lot of confidence from that.”

New contract signed
Candeias has recently signed a new contract with Rangers which will see him remain at Ibrox until 2020.
It is a clear sign that Rangers manager Murty and the club’s chiefs rate him highly and have been impressed with his performances this season.
