Spurs will fancy their chances of winning all three points from the encounter.
Former Arsenal striker Campbell believes that Mauricio Pochettino’s side will feel confident following City’s failure to win in midweek.
Pep Guardiola’s side played out a 3-3 draw with Celtic away from home at Celtic Park in Champions League Group C on Wednesday evening.
City were given a run for their money in Glasgow, as Brendan Rodgers’s team took the game to the Premier League outfit.
“Well, I think Pochettino and Spurs will look at that game last night and see a definite way how to unhinge and unsettle Manchester City because the high-press was working, and they (Celtic) got themselves in front,” said Campbell on the Sky Sports Now show on Sky Sports News HQ on Thursday morning (broadcast from 10am, September 29, 2016).
“That was the key, I think. Obviously the fans played a part, but Tottenham tend to play that way now anyway.
“So I believe they are going into that game at the weekend thinking, ‘We can get something out of this game for sure’.”
City have been in brilliant form in the Premier League so far this season.
The Citizens have been superb going forward, but Celtic exposed on Wednesday evening that defensively they can be vulnerable.
