Arsenal’s Gabriel Paulista lies injured
Former Arsenal striker Kevin Campbell has told ITV Sport that Gabriel Paulista’s injury could be catastrophic for the Gunners.
Arsene Wenger’s side took on Manchester City on Sunday as they completed their pre-season schedule against Pep Guardiola’s side.
It proved to be a good evening for them as they ran out 3-2 winners in a morale boosting victory ahead of the new season.

Unfortunately it was not all good news for them though as Gabriel Paulista picked up a nasty looking injury at the end of the game.
It leaves them without a senior centre back for the start of the season as Per Mertesacker also picked up an injury in pre-season and Laurent Koscielny is on an extended break following Euro 2016.
And Campbell believes that the injury to Gabriel could prove to be catastrophic for his former side as a result.
“I think it could be catastrophic at the moment,” he told ITV Sport.
“Arsene Wenger is probably going to have to go into the transfer market to get some experience back there. They may need two players.”

It now remains to be seen if Arsene Wenger will sign another defender or two before the end of the transfer window.
They have long needed additions in the position but the Gunners boss has so fair failed to bring a big name signing to the club.
His hand has now been forced somewhat though, and it will be interesting to see if he pays big money to get his man.
